Terms and Conditions

1. About the service

JustSell is an online platform for selling second-hand items quickly and easily. Take a few photos with your phone and our AI takes care of the rest — it identifies the brand, model and condition, estimates a market price, writes an attractive description in multiple languages, and prepares your listing for publication.

You don't need to write anything — you snap, we describe.

2. Registration and account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.
• You are responsible for the security of your account and all actions taken with it.
• One account per person or legal entity. Shared or automated accounts (bots) are not permitted.
• You must provide a valid email address and accurate information. False details will result in account suspension.

3. What we do with your photos and data

When you upload photos, they are:

• Automatically analysed using AI models (Claude Vision by Anthropic) to identify the product, condition, brand and model.
• Visually processed — we improve brightness, contrast and cropping to make your item more attractive.
• Stored securely on certified servers (Hetzner Object Storage, S3-compatible).
• Used exclusively to create your listing. We do not sell your photos or use them to train AI models without your explicit consent.

AI-generated descriptions are suggestions — you can edit them before publishing.

4. Prohibited content

The following is strictly forbidden:

• Weapons, ammunition, explosives, hazardous substances
• Drugs, psychotropic substances, or products mimicking their effects
• Counterfeit goods, unauthorised copies, or illegally obtained items
• Live animals (except where explicitly permitted by law)
• Sexually explicit content
• Stolen goods or items obtained through fraud
• Prescription medicines or medical devices without authorisation
• Any product whose sale is prohibited by law in Romania or the EU

We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these rules and to suspend or close the responsible account without prior notice.

5. Listing rules

• You own the item you are selling or have the legal right to sell it.
• The price is genuine — fictitious, artificially inflated prices or "call for price" tricks are not allowed.
• Photos are real — you may not use images from the internet or photos of a different product.
• One item = one listing — do not post the same item multiple times.
• Descriptions are accurate — any defect or problem with the item must be mentioned.

6. Pricing and subscriptions

JustSell is currently free. You can create an account, upload photos, generate listings and publish them at no cost.

We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future (subscriptions or per-listing credits). Any change to the pricing model will be communicated to users at least 30 days in advance by email and in-app notification. Existing listings will not be affected retroactively.

7. Liability and limitations

JustSell is an intermediary platform. We are not party to transactions between sellers and buyers, and we do not guarantee:

• Completion of sales
• 100% accuracy of AI-generated descriptions (always review before publishing)
• Uninterrupted availability of the service (planned maintenance may occur)

The platform is not liable for disputes arising between users from transactions.

8. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the photos and content you upload. By using the platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, display and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

The code, design and JustSell brand belong to us and are protected by intellectual property law.

9. Personal data

We process your personal data in accordance with GDPR Regulation (EU) 2016/679. We collect and use data exclusively for:

• Account management and authentication
• Providing AI analysis and listing publication services
• Account-related communications (notifications, terms updates)

We do not sell your data to third parties. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing suport@justsell.ro.

10. Suspension and account deletion

We may suspend or delete your account if you:

• Violate these terms
• Publish illegal or fraudulent content
• Have been inactive for more than 24 months

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your listings will be deactivated and your personal data removed within 30 days.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically. We will notify you by email and in-app banner at least 15 days before any significant change. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian and European Union law. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of Romania.
